Do you feel intimidated or confused by props? Think they are only for restorative practices? Do you avoid props or not sure when, why, or how to use these tools? You are not alone!
In this 2 hour workshop you’ll learn to confidently use a variety of yoga props including blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters to enhance your practice. Props can serve many purposes:
provide stability to make a pose accessible
create space and mobility to go deeper in a pose
support the body allowing for more subtle and refined actions
This workshop is geared towards practitioners of all levels that may not be familiar with props or want to explore new and different ways to incorporate props to enhance their practice. Teachers wanting to expand their ability to support students in their practice are also welcome and can earn CEUs with Yoga Alliance.
Come with a sense of curiosity and leave with a newfound appreciation and excitement for how props can profoundly change your yoga experience.
