During an Ayurvedic consultation, the practitioner assesses your unique constitution (dosha) and any imbalances. In a Reiki session, the practitioner channels universal life energy to support healing, using hands-on or hovering techniques without additional tools like crystals or sound healing. The client remains fully clothed and lies comfortably as the practitioner works to clear energy blockages and restore balance. Sensations like warmth or tingling may occur. At the end, the practitioner and client may discuss any intuitive insights and reflect on the session’s experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

How early can someone book?
Clients can schedule appointments up to three months in advance. It’s recommended to book early to secure your preferred time and date.
To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full cost of the service.
Clients are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to their appointment to allow time for check-in and to relax before the session begins.
New clients will receive an intake form via email upon booking. This form should be completed before the session to help the practitioner customize the treatment based on your specific needs and health considerations.

Alex Taylor, a Huntsville native, has been a dedicated member of the wellness community for many years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Health Care from Metropolitan State University and a Master’s Degree in Integrative Health Care and Ayurveda from Maharishi International University. Since 2020, Alex has been a Yoga Alliance-certified instructor and has been actively involved with Light On Yoga Fitness since 2018.

Alex is passionate about continually expanding her knowledge of health and wellness, with a special focus on ancient Ayurvedic practices. She enjoys sharing this expertise with her clients, helping them cultivate healthy habits and guiding them on their unique journey toward balance and vitality.

About Alex Taylor

Sarah is a Certified Reiki II Practitioner under the Usui/Holy Fire III lineage and a Registered 200-Hour Yoga Instructor. Inspired by the global challenges of 2020, Sarah felt called to become a Reiki practitioner, recognizing the growing need for healing and support in the world. Serving others has always been a natural gift and passion, and she is honored to assist clients on their wellness journey at Light On.

Driven by a deep desire to contribute positively, Sarah's Reiki practice provides a source of calm, healing, and inner nourishment. She is dedicated to creating a nurturing, safe, and welcoming environment for her clients. Believing that everyone has an innate ability to heal, Sarah focuses solely on Reiki energy, without the use of additional tools such as crystals, sound healing, or aromatherapy, keeping her approach simple and effective.
